Sorry for the pun, this post of course has nothing to do with the famous Ang Lee film. Instead I want to share some pictures of the theatre ensemble "Feuervogel" I had the pleasure to see live at the medieval town festival in Bad Langensalza at the end of August. This particular show was called 'web of life' and performed by three members of the group, who, in their colourful costumes, had already caught people's attention during the opening parade in the morning.

While having an ice cream in Binz we watched an old lady feed an ever growing mass of chubby sparrows. Her husband, who sat next too her, didn't look to impressed. We saw them both again the next day when we went to visit the lighthouses at Kap Arkona. And I surrendered my ice cream cone to the sparrows later that day.
